Mystery Jam Monday Part 26

Big news in the land of Mystery Jams.  The first 25 were for show, but from now on, we’re playing for dough.  Or downloads anyway.  Thanks to the generosity of livephish.com and nugs.net, each week’s winner will receive a download code for an MP3 copy of a LivePhish soundboard recording.

In addition to their generosity in sponsoring our little Mystery Jam series, it’s also worth pointing out their larger generosity in donating a portion of every LivePhish.com purchase to the Mockingbird Foundation. So, even if you’re not a winner, why not pick up a show from Livephish.com…in addition to supporting the band we all love (and a great service that has professionally mastered soundboards available for purchase within hours after the end of each show), your LivePhish.com purchases also support music education for children.  Ok, enough with the pledge drive part of the post (but, seriously, if you’ve been enjoying the MJ series, consider buying a LP download) and onto this week’s Mystery Jam.

The rules are pretty much the same as before, except that I would strongly encourage everyone who guesses to do so with their Phish.Net username (or include their username in their comment) so I can easily verify the winner. Also, we’ll be enforcing a one guess per day rule (with the second “day” beginning when the hint is posted).  So post your guesses in the comments.  We’ll need a song name and date to win. Hint will be posted tomorrow and the answer will come on Wednesday.  Good luck….

Tuesday Hint:

Wednesday Answer: The 8/8/98 ”Piper.” Congrats to joe b for being the first to get it. Hope you enjoy your crispy SBD, joe b! See you all next week for Part 27…
