Trying for a "locals" Telluride ticket?
Don’t bother unless you actually do live there. The rules were just posted and they’re very strict.
Not only does the buyer have to be in the county, but the second ticket owner does too. It doesn’t matter if you have a friend or an uncle who lives in Telluride. You won’t be helped at all by the sales. Locals only means just that; save your trip.

Not just for concerts
The topic on Mr. Miner’s blog today was Big Cypress. I wanted to link to my old column on Jambands, written right after the disasters and peaks that was that trip, but the recent change of Jambands meant that my column had gone *poof*. Google didn’t have it cached anywhere. I was really devastated.

2009 "weekday" stats reveal striking anomalies!

Phish @ RoR HoF inductions
This has been rumored but is now official. If you go to www.fuse.tv, you’ll see the headline, “Billie Joe and Phish Rock the Hall Of Fame,” and then it says that they will open the show with a few Genesis classics. Tonight if you want to see Phish play Genesis songs, it’ll be on Fuse TV. I guess I’ll have to set my DVR.

Happy Hamptonversary!
A year ago today it all ended. The speculation, the ticket crunch, the hype, all of that ended when the lights went out and “Fluffhead” was played. Regardless of whether you enjoyed the hell out of 2009 or thought it was kind of weak, I think we can all rejoice in that moment. To March 9th and to many years still to come! A year ago today it all began.
